Responsibilities
- Lead market research and competitive analysis for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech convergence)
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future tech into commercial offerings
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through executive briefings and innovation workshops
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record in commercializing at least one cutting-edge technology
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, advanced AI, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical data
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Portfolio showcasing technology strategy projects or innovation frameworks
