Responsibilities
- Architect 3-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, neurotech) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for frontier technologies
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite and board with data-driven market simulations
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor a team of futurists and technology scouts
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- 7+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent
