Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026+ market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing and biotechnology
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech disruptors through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $20M+ innovation budgets with measurable ROI metrics
- Build global networks with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and similar hubs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neurotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience securing government grants and venture capital for futuristic projects
