Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and design teams
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats/opportunities across 15+ industries
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and Board of Directors quarterly
- Build partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech accelerators
- Mentor junior futurists and publish thought leadership in Wired/TechCrunch
- Oversee $5M annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record scaling products from concept to billion-dollar valuation
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in AI ethics or quantum computing (top-tier journals)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/Java preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
