Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR)
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping for futuristic tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget and vendor partnerships for R&D initiatives
- Author thought leadership pieces published in IEEE and MIT Technology Review
- Mentor junior engineers in future-focused development methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, biotech convergence, or neural interfaces
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Experience securing government grants (DARPA, NSF) for futuristic R&D projects
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and scenario planning tools
