- Establish strategic partnerships with research labs, startups, and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite executives and investors
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech adoption timelines
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist research team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record forecasting tech trends with 3+ years ahead accuracy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., biotech, AI ethics, space tech)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or relevant field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
