Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, bio-integrated systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with engineers, data scientists, and industry partners
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption and disruption timelines
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders at global tech forums
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia, government labs, and industry leaders
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and agile development cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech, or sustainable systems)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-disrupting technologies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/R preferred)
