Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026 technology landscape (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market predictions
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to align innovation priorities
- Conduct scenario planning for technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Monitor competitor tech strategies and emerging regulatory frameworks
- Manage technology innovation budget and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven experience in emerging technology adoption cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (patents, whitepapers, or conference presentations)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
