Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives including AI integration, quantum computing adoption, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen technologies with 3-5 year deployment horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, Web3.0) and assess business viability
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech strategy with organizational vision and market disruption opportunities
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for long-term technology investments
- Represent the company at global tech summits and publish thought leadership on future-tech paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable experience in emerging tech ecosystems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year development cycles
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML architecture, quantum computing, blockchain infrastructure, or biotech interfaces
- Exceptional analytical skills for modeling complex multi-variable systems
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Portfolio of published research or patents in next-generation technology domains
