What you'll achieve: Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year technology roadmaps, secure $5M+ in R&D funding, and establish industry partnerships for 2026-ready ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute technology strategy for 2026-2030 product roadmap
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, neuromorphic computing)
- Lead 15+ cross-functional R&D teams across 3 global innovation hubs
- Secure strategic partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and Fortune 500 tech firms
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Drive patent strategy targeting 50+ filings in next-gen tech domains
- Oversee $20M+ innovation budget allocation and ROI optimization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 100 firms
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Systems Theory
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies (2018-2023)
- Proven track record scaling tech initiatives from concept to $100M+ revenue
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Security clearance (Top Secret/SBI) or ability to obtain
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global stakeholder engagement
