Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with company vision and market disruption goals
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams to prototype future solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 R&D labs
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Drive organizational change management initiatives to embed future-thinking capabilities across departments
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and ethical frameworks impacting emerging technology deployment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
- 12+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management with Fortune 500 or high-growth startup experience
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused initiatives (e.g., AI ethics frameworks, quantum computing pilots)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains with published thought leadership
