Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 global sustainability goals
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping next-gen AI and quantum systems
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 companies for pilot deployments
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor emerging tech trends (Web4.0, biocomputing, etc.) for competitive advantage
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Mentor junior researchers through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Expertise in AI governance frameworks and quantum computing architectures
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ awards)
- Speaking engagements at premier tech conferences (CES, Web Summit)
