Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with MIT/Caltech research partners
- Translate theoretical breakthroughs into patentable commercial applications
- Develop market entry strategies for pre-2030 emerging technologies
- Present future-vision frameworks to C-suite and VC investors
- Manage $50M+ R&D portfolio with 18-month innovation cycles
- Drive adoption of ethical AI frameworks in autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, AI Ethics, or Bioengineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic tech roles at FAANG or quantum startups
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for neurotech and quantum systems
- Proven track record of launching $10M+ tech ventures
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Deep understanding of IPCC climate models and carbon capture tech
