Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, sustainable tech)
- Lead cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers and researchers in prototype development
- Secure strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech conglomerates
- Present technology strategy to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Drive patent portfolio expansion targeting 30+ new filings annually
- Monitor geopolitical and market shifts affecting tech adoption timelines
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record of launching $10M+ commercialized innovations
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Published researcher with 15+ peer-reviewed papers or equivalent patents
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Certified in Futures Studies (WFS) or Technology Foresight (EU)
