Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026-2030 horizon) and assess market viability for commercial adoption
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate emerging technologies into product/service portfolios
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor competitive technology landscapes and regulatory developments affecting innovation
- Drive organizational culture of innovation through thought leadership and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or executive leadership role
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for future markets (5-10 year horizon)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, sustainable tech)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in technology management or strategic foresight (e.g., CSTM, CFTE) preferred
