- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech initiatives with business growth
- Present quarterly progress reports to the board of directors
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget across 3 innovation labs
- Mentor junior engineers in future-focused design thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in launching commercialized tech products
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Certified in Agile/Scrum methodologies and technology forecasting
- Strong network within Silicon Valley venture capital ecosystem
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals preferred
- Experience securing government innovation grants
