Responsibilities
- Develop forward-looking technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, bio-digital interfaces, climate-tech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Innovation Lab
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling business cases
- Partner with MIT Future Lab on cutting-edge research initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, or climate-tech
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from Singularity University)
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or MIT Technology Review
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester)
