Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business growth and market disruption forecasts
- Lead research initiatives in AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future technologies into product development cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to investors and board members
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption and implementation
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify first-mover advantages
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in technology innovation funding
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder communication skills
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation management
