Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and synthesize actionable insights for executive leadership
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning to anticipate industry shifts and position the company strategically
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate future-focused technologies into development pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation task force to pilot emerging technologies
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop mitigation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, R&D, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies with demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts to business strategy
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in trend analysis, scenario planning, and data modeling
- Strong executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite boards and investors
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., from Institute of the Future) preferred
