Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with emerging trends in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams of futurists, engineers, and designers to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze global tech policy shifts and regulatory frameworks impacting 2026 digital ecosystems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for future-tech research initiatives
- Create strategic whitepapers and thought leadership content on technological evolution pathways
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for future-tech incubation projects
- Represent the company at global tech summits and policy forums shaping 2026 digital infrastructure
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with demonstrated impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI safety, synthetic biology, or climate engineering
- Proven ability to translate complex technological concepts into actionable business strategies
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across geographically distributed environments
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscape and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications or academic journals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred) and data modeling tools
