Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI ethics, quantum computing, and climate adaptation
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Design and prototype next-generation human-machine interfaces and autonomous systems
- Partner with government and industry bodies to shape future regulatory frameworks
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and scenario planning methodologies
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in translating futuristic concepts into commercial prototypes
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AI, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Deep familiarity with speculative design methodologies and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or patented innovations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
