Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech/economic/societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ market leadership
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI applications
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital partners
- Architect ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring responsible deployment
- Produce foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Build ecosystem partnerships with research institutions and future-focused startups
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, nanotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent experience
