Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and leadership teams
- Author predictive reports on market disruptions and technological inflection points
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and pilot prototype solutions for emerging market opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology roadmapping
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AI ethics, synthetic biology)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives
