Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies, societal trends, and disruptive forces impacting industries by 2026
- Develop and publish annual foresight reports with predictive scenarios and strategic implications
- Design innovation frameworks and roadmaps for product development, market entry, and organizational transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risk mitigation strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts using agile methodologies
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Present foresight insights to executive teams and boards with compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation with proven impact
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience translating complex insights into executive-level narratives
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
