Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop and implement cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligned with C-suite objectives
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for disruptive events including climate tech breakthroughs and regulatory shifts
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and strategic alignment
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions (e.g., neural interfaces, carbon-negative materials)
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and executive briefings
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate an organization-wide culture of anticipatory thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and disruption modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and forecasting methodologies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
