Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to anticipate market shifts and competitive disruptions
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation initiatives
- Present strategic foresight to executive leadership and board members through compelling visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, TED-style talks) positioning the company as a future-shaper
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-level audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from World Future Society) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects or published foresight work
