Responsibilities
- Analyze exponential technology trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized networks) and forecast market impacts through 2026
- Develop strategic scenario plans for disruptive market shifts and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof business models
- Present compelling foresight narratives to executive teams and investor boards
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Produce annual Horizon Reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Mentor internal teams in strategic foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year forecasting track record
- Expertise in at least two exponential technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, Business Strategy, or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, Scenario Planning)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive audiences
- Portfolio of successful strategic initiatives implemented from future trends
