Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning across AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and emerging fields
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption potential
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable innovation initiatives
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for emerging technology ecosystems
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and investors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, researchers, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of commercializing future-focused technologies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Experience building innovation ecosystems within Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Portfolio of published futures research or strategic frameworks
