Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Horizon Labs' 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integration, neural interfaces)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Establish and manage strategic alliances with academic institutions, government futurists, and global innovation consortia
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership content on disruptive trends and their business implications
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization horizons
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks to ensure responsible development of transformative technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scaling tech companies
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling executive narratives
- Experience building and leading cross-functional innovation teams in fast-paced environments
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems (VCs, accelerators, research institutions)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, CFS) or equivalent professional development
