Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/social trends (AI, quantum computing, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026+
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints translating future insights into product roadmaps
- Author visionary thought leadership and industry trend reports for stakeholder education
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Build global foresight networks and maintain competitive intelligence ecosystems
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping projects or published research
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
