Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) impacting global markets by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for disruptive future states
- Partner with R&D teams to validate future-facing concepts and prototypes
- Present insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
