Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ trend forecasts across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Design strategic frameworks for emerging technology adoption and market disruption
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership on future business models
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for stakeholders
- Establish innovation pipelines by identifying breakthrough opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to align product roadmaps with future market needs
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex insights into narratives
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate uncertainty
