Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop strategic frameworks and roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, metaverse)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings for leadership teams
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into R&D pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, biotech, AR/VR) and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong executive presence and experience influencing C-level decision-makers
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning, Delphi techniques)
