Responsibilities
- Forecast global technological and societal trends through quantitative/qualitative research
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps and market entry strategies
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to prepare for disruptive futures
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging innovations and their business implications
- Partner with R&D teams to integrate foresight insights into product development lifecycles
- Monitor horizon scanning outputs and synthesize actionable intelligence for cross-functional teams
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and influencing C-level decision makers
- Published author or speaker at global innovation/futurism conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
