Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce executive-ready future-state reports with quantifiable impact projections for board-level decision-making
- Architect '2026 Vision Roadmaps' integrating exponential technologies with human-centric design principles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to capture cutting-edge research
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic communication
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures strategy or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic initiatives implemented from foresight frameworks
