Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and geopolitical trends to identify disruptive forces affecting 2026+ landscape
- Develop comprehensive scenario-planning models for organizational resilience and market positioning
- Partner with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future-focused insights into innovation pipelines
- Deliver executive briefings and strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact assessments
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Lead organizational change initiatives to prepare for paradigm shifts in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Publish thought leadership content on future-focused platforms and industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for global organizations
- Strong presentation and communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar institution)
