Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, AGI) to build 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams to align on future capabilities
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI implementation and human-machine collaboration
- Present future scenarios to Fortune 500 clients and investors through immersive data visualizations
- Oversee the Horizon Innovation Lab's $50M annual R&D budget allocation
- Author thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and Nature Futures
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders Program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic tech roles with proven impact on product roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester) and scenario planning methodologies
- Published portfolio of future-focused research or patents
- Experience advising C-suite on technological disruption and transformation
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex future concepts
- Fluency in English with additional languages a plus
