Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology foresight strategies aligned with market trends and disruptive innovations
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI, Web3) to identify commercialization opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global R&D centers
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences on future technology paradigms
- Build and lead a high-performing foresight team of researchers and analysts
- Advise executive leadership on technology investment priorities and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends with 90%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience building and managing high-performing research teams
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio published in leading tech journals or major industry publications
