As a key member of our C-Suite Strategy Council, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, Fortune 500 innovators, and government futurists to develop frameworks that will shape global technology policy and commercial applications. Our Austin hub offers unparalleled resources including quantum research labs and AI supercomputers.
Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AGI, and climate tech
- Produce horizon-scanning reports identifying paradigm-shifting technologies with 3-5 year adoption curves
- Design strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and EU Horizon Europe initiatives
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members with data-driven impact analyses
- Establish KPIs for tracking technology adoption rates and ROI on future-focused R&D
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and technology analysts
- Author white papers on ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech transitions
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or Complex Systems
- 10+ years in strategic foresight roles at Fortune 500 or Big Tech (Google/Meta/Apple)
- Published research in Nature Futures or IEEE Technology & Society
- Expertise in Delphi methodology, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and AGI development frameworks
- Certification in Sustainable Technology Transition (STT) from Stanford
- Experience presenting to G7 technology ministers and WEF panels
- Portfolio of implemented future strategies generating >$100M revenue impact
