Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and articulate a comprehensive technology roadmap for the 2026 timeframe, aligning long-term innovation with business objectives.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (e.g., generative AI, edge computing) to identify high-impact opportunities.
- R&D Leadership: Lead cross-functional research and development initiatives to prototype and validate future-ready solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product teams to translate complex technical visions into actionable business strategies.
- Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with academic institutions and tech startups to stay ahead of the innovation curve.
- Resource Allocation: Oversee budget planning and resource allocation for experimental projects and experimental technologies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, R&D, or senior engineering leadership roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of defining technology roadmaps for major enterprise transitions.
- Tech Fluency: Deep understanding of current and future tech stacks, including AI/ML frameworks, cloud architectures, and distributed systems.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation: A forward-thinking mindset with a history of driving innovation within a large organization.
