Responsibilities
- Design and implement the core architectural framework for The 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Lead the technical strategy, making high-level design choices for our distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and senior developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and architectural debt to ensure long-term system health.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential integration into our roadmap.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a Lead Architect or Senior Engineering role.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Proven track record of designing high-availability, distributed systems at scale.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure and data pipeline architecture is a major plus.
