Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technology convergence
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio for emerging tech R&D
- Develop patent roadmaps for next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Coordinate with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich research initiatives
- Present quarterly future-tech briefings to the board of directors
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers and data scientists
- Oversee the creation of Nexus's annual 'Future State' report
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism or technology journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, and synthetic biology
- Experience with Delphi methodology and horizon scanning techniques
- Exceptional presentation skills for C-suite and government audiences
- Fluency in Mandarin and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
