Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive strategic frameworks for 2026 technology adoption across healthcare, energy, and transportation sectors
- Lead cross-functional task forces of AI researchers, neuroscientists, and sustainable systems engineers
- Produce horizon-scanning reports identifying disruptive technologies with 3-5 year societal impact
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on future-proofing their business models against quantum and AI disruptions
- Design ethical governance frameworks for emerging biotech and neural interface technologies
- Represent Horizon at Davos, World Economic Forum, and UN Technology Summits
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts while establishing new industry forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related quantitative social sciences
- 10+ years in strategic foresight with Fortune 500 or global policy institutions
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or AI alignment
- Expertise in scenario planning using Monte Carlo simulations and agent-based modeling
- Deep understanding of quantum computing implications for cryptography and materials science
- Proven track record influencing national technology policy (e.g., NSF, DARPA)
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
