Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable quantum circuit architectures tailored for the 2026 hardware roadmap.
- Hybrid Systems: Develop and optimize hybrid classical-quantum algorithms to solve real-world optimization and machine learning problems.
- Error Correction: Spearhead research into quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant system design to ensure stability at scale.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a diverse team of quantum physicists, software engineers, and data scientists in best practices for quantum software development.
- Strategic Roadmap: Collaborate with R&D leads to align technical milestones with the company’s 2026 launch goals.
- Performance Tuning: Continuously analyze and optimize quantum processing unit (QPU) utilization to maximize throughput and minimize coherence time overhead.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Mechanics or Computational Complexity.
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in high-performance computing (HPC), systems architecture, or quantum computing software development.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Rust, with deep knowledge of quantum programming frameworks like Qiskit, Cirq, or TensorFlow Quantum.
- Hardware Knowledge: Demonstrated experience working with or simulating quantum hardware (superconducting, trapped ion, or photonic qubits).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to identify and solve abstract mathematical and engineering challenges.
