Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise systems during overnight hours, ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Execute system patches, updates, and security protocols during off-peak hours
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement proactive solutions
- Collaborate with global teams on system migrations and optimization projects
- Document procedures and create comprehensive incident reports
- Lead disaster recovery simulations and emergency response protocols
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and virtual environments
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations or system administration
- Expert knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization technologies
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification required
- Proficiency in monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios) and scripting (Python/PowerShell)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous night shift or 24/7 environment experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
