Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical corporate systems during overnight hours, including network infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Execute scheduled system updates, security patches, and data backups with zero operational disruption
- Provide Tier 2 technical support to global teams via ticketing systems and video conferencing
- Analyze operational data to identify efficiency improvements and implement process enhancements
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handover and continuity of operations
- Document all procedures, incidents, and resolutions in our knowledge management system
- Conduct proactive system health checks and preventative maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in IT operations or system administration
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows/Linux systems and enterprise applications
- Valid CompTIA Network+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional written communication skills for cross-team documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight hours
- Flexibility to adjust schedule during critical system deployments
