Role Overview:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and translating complex requirements into functional specifications. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to gather detailed business requirements and process needs.
- Analyze current business processes and propose data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), process maps, and user stories.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical specifications.
- Monitor project milestones and provide regular progress updates to management.
- Identify potential risks and issues within projects and develop mitigation strategies.
- Perform data analysis to support decision-making and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical role.
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Experience with data modeling and database concepts is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
