Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to define clear business requirements and functional specifications for new systems.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and inefficiencies within business processes.
- Documentation: Create detailed process maps, use case diagrams, and user stories using industry-standard tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and comprehensive reports to track project progress and business performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams and project managers to ensure successful solution implementation and user adoption.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current workflows and recommend innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the finance or consulting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a part-time schedule (e.g., 20-25 hours per week) with high availability for meetings.
