Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements and process improvements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Use Cases, User Stories, and Functional Specifications.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Process Mapping: Develop process flows, swimlane diagrams, and workflow models to visualize business processes and identify bottlenecks.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between technical teams and business units, translating technical concepts into actionable business insights.
- Testing Support: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance processes to ensure successful project delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare executive summaries and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a preference for part-time or contract experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI) and diagramming software (Visio, Lucidchart).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes of business issues and proposing effective solutions.
