Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Optimize quantum circuit architectures for hybrid classical-quantum computing
- Publish groundbreaking research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to co-design next-gen quantum processors
- Develop quantum error mitigation techniques for scalable AI systems
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent portfolios
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and Python frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding
